How and why should I subscribe to Opal Pro

Opal's mission is to empower people to focus. As a digital wellbeing company, we want to help you gain peace and balance with your use of digital technology. We help you block distractions via Schedules, Time Limits, Open Limits, and Timers; we also give you personalised insights with your daily Score and weekly Focus Report.

While you are welcome to use the free version of Opal, paying for Opal allows us to maintain and improve the product, and gives you access to Pro features on our iOS app and Mac App. If you purchase an annual or lifetime subscription on iOS or Stripe, you are welcome to share your subscription with family members in the same household using Family Sharing. To subscribe to Opal Pro and see the benefits of each version of Opal, please head here or to the AppStore.

What features are included with Opal Pro?

The free version of Opal gives you access to three recurring Rules (including Schedules, Time Limits, and Open Limits), weekly Focus Reports, and your day of Score. In contrast, Opal Pro grants you access to the following:

  • Unlimited recurring rules
  • Our Allow List feature
  • "No unblocks” mode and so you're unable to cancel or take a break
  • Screen time and Focus score history

May I use my Opal Pro subscription on multiple devices?

Absolutely! To use your new Opal Pro subscription, first ensure that you’ve signed up for an Opal account. To do so on the iOS version, follow these steps:

  • Download the iOS app here
  • Sign-up for an Opal account
  • Tap on “Home”
  • Tap on “Profile” (accessible from the top right corner)
  • Tap on “Settings” (accessible from the top right corner)
  • Scroll down and tap on “Restore Purchase”

Once your subscription is associated with your account, use the same email or phone number you used to sign up for the account to log in on your other devices.
